Edward Mills, PhD, - Founder and Head of Epidemiology In addition Dr. Mills is a Associate Professor at McMaster University Dept. of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics and Adjunct Professor at the University of Rwanda School of Public Health. He is trained as a clinical epidemiologist, with a specific focus on clinical trial design and measurement. He currently leads large randomized trials and mega-cohorts of HIV infection in Eastern and Central Africa. He has also published extensively on research methods, capacity development and HIV treatment strategies.
Warren Stevens, PhD, - Head of Economics Previously Dr. Stevens was faculty at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Between 2000-2006 he led the Health Economics Research Program at the Medical Research Council Tropical Disease Research Institute in the Gambia, West Africa. He was also a member of the World Health Organization Global Malaria Program Technical Working Group on Cost-effectiveness Methodology, and has been an Expert Advisor for the World Health Organization Vaccines group, the World Bank, the Global Alliance on Improving Nutrition, the Global Fund, USAID and UNICEF.
Alejandro Cravioto, MD, PHD, - Senior Epidemiologist Most recently, he was the Executive Director of the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b). His additional interests include research and institutional capacity building and health systems in transition. In 2011, he was appointed by the UN Secretary General to head a panel investigating the source of the recent cholera outbreak in Haiti. He is currently a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) on immunization.
Kristian Thorlund, PhD, MSc - Principal Consultant Dr. Thorlund is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McMaster University. He is a trained biostatistician with specialty in Bayesian statistics, meta-analysis methods, and clinical trial monitoring. He has many publications related to network meta-analysis and systematic reviews, and has taught multiple professional workshops on these topics. He also serves as external expert reviewer and advisor to the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health on network meta-analysis.

Jamie Forrest MPH, BSc - Senior Research Associate Jamie has worked in global health for nearly a decade, specializing in sexual and reproductive health in sub-Saharan Africa. He has previously worked for the International AIDS Society and the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS before joining Global Evaluative Sciences. Jamie is currently completing a doctoral degree at the School of Public Health at the University of British Columbia.
